Pete Winfield finished in 1st place in his age category and 12th place overall in the British Gas Great East Swim 5k in Alton in Suffolk. In water temperatures of 13.5 c Pete finished in a time of 1:17:19.
Chris Dunham completed the Dambuster Triathlon in a time of 2:21:54. Chris finished in 313th place out of 757 in his first ever Olympic distance tri. His splits were: swim 17:14; T1 1:42; bike 1:22:01; T2 1:17; run 39:39.

Braintree triathlon took place on Sunday 10th June at the Halstead Leisure Centre. After a stormy couple of days previous the weather was perfect for racing, and for spectators. Debbie Thompson and Lianne Warnell travelled to Blenheim Palace on Saturday 9th June for the Blenheim Sprint triathlon. 5 members joined Walden Tri in their 10 Mile TT on the outskirts of Saffron Walden tonight. Debbie, Sue, Dan, Matt and Jamie all took advantage of the great weather to clock great times. Jamie laid down a blistering pace to clock a time of 23:38 coming in in first place.
Tri Sport Epping took all the glory at the first Aquathlon series race last night. An excellent performance from Kevin Partridge saw him finish in first place in a time of 32:35 with fellow Tri Sport epping member Mel Barlow-Kay being the first lady across the finish line in a time of 38:45.
