Jamie Bishop did his first half marathon at Brentwood at the weekend. He finished in a very impressive time of 1:26:57 finishing in 67th place out of a field 2272.
Rob Carter took part in the Carlisle aquathlon on Sunday 18 March. He finished the 500 metre swim and 5k run in 28.10 which put him 4th. His splits were 7.46 for the 500m swim and 20.24 for the 5k run including transition.

I recently treated myself to a Planet X TT bike and it came with Carbon Tub wheels. So I have now embraced using tubs and decided it would nice to use them on the road bike too. Nine members of Stortford Tri took part in the Monster Duathlon on Sunday 26th Feb at Witchford near Ely. The event consisted of a 5k run followed by a 25k bike through villages around Witchford and then the same 5k run to finish. It was the first race of the season for most people. members of Stortford Tri (the multisport part of the running club) took part on Saturday 3rd March in the Dunmow Tri Muddy Duathlon, over a distance of 5k off road run, 21k bike and a further 5k run. Sam Rigby and Pete Winfield took part in the Dambuster Duathlon on Saturday 10 March based at Rutland Water. The event consisted of a 10k run; 42k bike; 5k run. Pete Winfield finished in 2:28:36 with splits of run 1 45:43; bike 1:17:34; run2 22:44. Overall he was 12th in his age category of 50-55.
